Throwing a Light on Leadership

In response to requests to facilitate a course designed for team leaders, head teachers, curriculum leaders or kaiako aspiring to step into a leadership role – we are very excited to be running InterLEAD’S NEW 3-day Residential Leadership Programme again.

This professional learning programme will support team leaders, head teachers, curriculum leaders or kaiako aspiring to step up into a leadership role to:

• Understand the key ECE documents that inform teaching and leadership practice
• Develop credibility that is based on educational expertise and good self-awareness
• Build high trust relationships using effective communication strategies
• Grow personal and professional capability that will sustain a systems leadership model
• Draw on the individual strengths and collective strengths within team

Strong links will be made to The Leadership Capability Framework, Te Ara Poutama, NELP and Ngā Aronga Whai Hua.

Leadership is about being an influencer who can support others to make a positive difference to children’s learning.
In order to do this effectively we need capable leaders who are able to create the right conditions to build and sustain thriving teams and who can tackle tough challenges with vision, resilience and adaptability.

Now is the time to prioritise how 2023 will be the year you invest in developing staff to strengthen teaching, leadership and learner support capability.

Investment Information:
$1295 + GST per person.
This includes: sole occupancy room with King or Queen size bed and ensuite, all meals, shuttle transfers from Christchurch Airport to Hanmer Springs (if required), one entry to the Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools, facilitation and course materials.
