The Art of High Impact Professional Journaling

A two-hour workshop for existing members of Appraisal Connector™. This workshop will build your understanding and skill in the appraisal process.

Thursday 20th April – Afternoon Workshop 1.30–3.30pm
Afternoon Tea Provided 

During this two-hour workshop, we will cover the following topics:

• What is professionalism in education?
• Understanding the language of adult development (Novice to Masterful)
• Building ‘social capital’ across teams
• The difference between journals and diaries; wondering and reflecting; reflection and inquiry
• The difference between a Goal and an Inquiry
• Writing of reflections and learning to comment
• Setting up Appraisals – which sections to complete, time frames, and how to invite Professional Friends
